SOUTHLAKE, Texas — July 15, 2002— Darin T. Brown, an information technology professional with extensive experience in data processing software development and project management, has joined the information systems department of Technical Transportation, Inc., a provider of specialized transportation, logistics and tracking services. Brown is TechTrans’ information systems project administrator with primary responsibility for the administration of IS projects.

“We have added Darin to our IT staff to create ‘TechTrans2’, which will implement the re-engineering of TechTrans’ operations software, and the infrastructure and development environments supporting it,” said Len Batcha, president of TechTrans. “This effort will ensure that the technology operations of TechTrans maintain a strong competitive edge. Brown’s professional experience includes six years at Brierley & Partners, a full-service direct marketing and interactive agency that designs and implements customer loyalty programs. Brown worked either as a program developer or a project manager for a variety of national accounts in diverse industries including retail, electronics, airlines and travel. Positions he held included database services support team leader, lead programmer and analyst. In addition to programming and system operation and management, Brown supervised eight technical support employees.

For six years prior to joining Brierley, Brown was an independent IS consultant for small and medium sized businesses. Brown recommended and installed hardware and software, provided network support, cabling and IT/Phone services, and programmed accounting and other business data processing systems.
